Club 33 reservation: a humble request

Hi all,

I am bringing my Mom out to Anaheim this coming January 24-27. She has never been to Disneyland before, and I'm hoping to make this trip a very special one for her. She's been through a lot this year health- and family-wise. I'm hoping to lift her spirits with this trip, and make it a memorable visit.

I'd love to bring her to Club 33, but obviously can't arrange (or afford) full-fledged membership in time for our trip. I'm wondering if any of the Club 33 members reading this would consider making a reservation for 2 on our behalf at any point during the trip. I know this might sound ludicrous, but it's worth a try!

(Please let me know if this request is out of line for this board, as well.)

Thanks in advance,
Ray

FYI

It can be very difficult to get reservations.. It can be full up to a year in advance.

Also Membership is $8,000, to get into the club and annal dues are $3,500.

A typical meal is $75-$100 each....

Sorry I'm no help. But in the event that this doesn't pan out have you considered having dinner at the Napa Rose? It's really nice and the food is great.

Thanks, Rapunsel... what you're describing is membership, I think. I know that membership won't work on this short notice. What I was hoping for was a current Club 33 member to make a reservation on our behalf as a friendly gesture. :) Ah well!

RangerPooh, thanks for the suggestion! The Napa Rose will be our Plan B. I've eaten there as well; it's one of my favorite restaurant experiences in California. I live in San Francisco, which is chock-full of terrific dining options, so kudos to Napa Rose!

I suspect you will find members reluctant to issue an invite to total strangers, as they would then be responsible for your behavior at the club. The member who gets us in is accountable for anything we might do, hence his limiting invites to parties in which he knows and trusts someone.

I recommend the Vineyard Room in DCA for a memorable dining experience. It's gorgeous and the wine pairings are fabulous.
