Club 33 Mickey Ears

I am looking to get my husband something special for his birthday and I was thinking about a pair of club 33 ears. Does anyone know how much they cost at club 33? I see them on Ebay for $60-99 is that a fair price? I know I might just be at the mercy of the Ebay gougers as I have no way of buying one myself, but $100 feels a bit steep.

I think they are like $25-$30ish at Club 33....

I can't remember exactly what I paid, but it was somewhere around $20. The only place they are available is in Club 33, so your only option may be Ebay. Even if you find a club member to help you, they aren't always available. We've had the pleasure of going twice. One time they were out, and the other time they only had one or two pair available.

There is a cabinet with stuff you can purchase in Club 33. The merchandise there is not available anywhere else in the park.

The old logo items were discounted and available in the GCH gift shop earlier this year, so there's probably a lot of them on eBay. If the item you're looking at has the new logo, it's current.

I doubt any of the clearance old logo black ears would still be in the GCH gift shop. But, if you have a connection in the club, they can get you the current blue ones from the merchandise case if they are available.

Negative, gone. And all the items that were in the display at the gift shop during the Club 33 remodel could only be purchased with a card carrying club 33 member present.

It was kinda a "neener neener neener, look what you can't have!" to to the general public!

I know you said you wanted to get your husband something special, but to me what's special about Club 33 is the experience. If you can commemorate that with some merchandise that will remind you of those good memories, all the better. But I wouldn't think that a pair of ears bought on eBay, with no personal memories attached, would be all that special.

Will your husband wear the ears? Or are they for display? When we went, they had the ears available so I got some. My husband got a base ball hat with the Club 33 logo (he wore it to WDW). I don't know how much the hats are selling for on ebay, but he might like that over ears. At least mine does. I also got a key chain that I use, it was $15.

A big thing at C33 was to get your ears embroidered the day you bought them, this year they only did it for the re-opening weekend so make sure you aren't buying already embroidered ears!

Sounds ridiculous but I wouldn't want you to get them home and they say "Mary" on them People always try to buy my daughter's c33 ears and I have to usually point out that they already have her name on them!

Also, maybe you can find a pair on Ebay WITH his name?!

The baseball caps are quite nice
There are 2 types: "all weather" and "suede"
The "suede" (it's a suede-like material) is better

I like the old ears so much better. They are much classier looking than the new ones. The new ears are $25.00, a purple-ish blue color and the 33 logo is a yellowish gold emblem that is glued to the front of the ears. The old ears are black and the 33 logo is actually embroidered in gold thread on the hat. The only nice thing about the new ears is that they are lined with gold fabric with the 33 logo printed on it.

The glued-on logo might have been used to keep the lining intact, but the result is not very good. The baseball hats are embroidered and look much better.

The new ear hat color is Royal Blue (or that's the story I was told), but looks more like Royal Purple
(Royal Purple is a brand of motor oil)
