Hello everyone. I haven't been on here in a long time and never really made my presence known to begin with. However I would love any info some of you might have.
First off, I am not asking for entry into Club 33. I have been told by a good friend that I have that already through a family friend who is a member.
I hope it turns out to be true.
I am going in October with my fiancée (got engaged at Disneyland last October). We were told that reservations can't be made until 2 months prior. Also I have read online about changes in member policy this year. I just want to know if anyone knows if members can still make reservations for others without going along. We already have our park passes.
I guess this almost seems too good to be true so I am paranoid. :)
Thanks for any info you may have.

Yes, members can still make reservations for their invited guests to dine at Club 33 in DL without being there, as early as two months in advance (three months if they will be present.) One of the changes for this year was the new limit of 50 park-hopper tickets per year (dining not required now) verses the previous unlimited (dining required.) Since you already have your park passes, this will not a problem for your family-friend member. For entrance to the 1901 lounge in DCA, the Platinum member will need to be present with their guests.

Be sure to review the dress code requirements. It's stricter at dinner than at lunch. And plan to arrive at Club 33 no later than your reservation time, but no earlier than five minutes before.

Have fun at the Club in October!

They can, the question is will they? Many of the members I know will not make reservations for someone without them, unless they know them very well personally. If I were a member, and if someone said "I have a friend who wants to go", I wouldn't do it unless I knew them and knew my membership was safe with them. Remember, it would go on the member's credit card if something goes wrong.

Thank you for the answers.
As far as "will they?", apparently it has been confirmed by the member. Like I said, I am still paranoid and will be until I am inside eating.
