John mentioned on the last podcast that he has it on very good authority that WDW will be getting its own Club 33. Thoughts?

The Sentinel had this bit of rumor in its tent story this week. They said it would be Club 33 without being Club 33. No full-service restaurants, just basically paying for lounge access in each park.

It wouldn't be cheap of course. Disneyland is something between $20,000-30,000.

Cool! I would definitely pay for a membership if that's the case.

That's not cheap however, we would consider trying to get a membership only if it's like Disneyland's Club 33.

Understand - Club 33 @ Disneyland is somewhere between $30,000 - $50,000 for membership, and then $15,000 a year for dues. You get two APs and some other perks like FPs, but that only gets you into the Club, then you still pay for your food and drinks.

I guess it's good their doing this in WDW. If I paid that kind of money annually I would expect a club in every park.

One big question to me is where do they place it. These Clubs are tiny holes in the wall - and you don't put it in a Cabana. Epcot probably has the room, but where in MK?

I think it's cool, but that's waaaay beyond my comfort level. I think it would be great though, especially if I can become friends with a member;)

I'd look forward to seeing a "Club 33" in the MK. I've been fortunate enough to enjoy Club 33 at DL and also to have gotten into 1901 at DCA. Enjoyed the experience very much.

Wonder if you would have to pay a membership fee for each of the four "clubs" if wanted access to all of them?

Not sure of that but John said the rumor he heard is it is definitely separate from the club at Disneyland so if you wanted to be members at both it would be two memberships

My guess is it would cover at all 4 parks but will be more expensive than Disneyland 'a but who knows

Maybe room on 2nd floor on Main St (though know it is forced perspective)

At the MK, I think there's some vacant space in TomorrowLand right now. The circle vision 360 theater that formerly held Timekeeper and subsequently Monsters Inc Laugh floor is really underutilized. Also, across the walkway in TomorrowLand isn't about half of the Stitch building empty?

A couple of real prime spots would be on the end of Main Street over Casey's Corner or across the street over the Ice Cream Parlor. I suspect they could be used despite being less than full size because there is also a "3rd floor" there. The facade would be unaffected, just the interior space could include both the 2nd and 3rd floor. Imagine the view of the Castle during Wishes!!!

Or, how about some upper floor space in the section of the AdventureLand/Liberty Square buildings that face the hub?

Cinderella’s Royal Table is located on what was originally planned as WDW’s Club 33; I’m not sure why it became a public restaurant as opposed to a private one. I’ve been a guest to Club 33 at Tokyo Disneyland several times and a large percentage of the memberships are corporate owned. Disney staff would meet us at the park gate and guide us to the restaurant.
