Club 33 at Disneyland expanding membership

1 To man, this is NOT a good thing.
2) My previous company had a membership (I, unfortunately did not).
3) We ate there frequently.
4) We scheduled business trips based upon Club-33 ressies.
5) And, they were VERY hard to get.
6) More members are just going to make ressies harder to get.
7) Bummer.

I didn't see anything in the article about expanding memebership (nor about the tiered memberships that I recall them offering, so it's not a very complete article). Did I miss something?

This quote is from the article

Now Walt Disney Co., based in Burbank, California, is opening the door a crack. It plans to increase the 487-member roster, said Gary Maggetti, who oversees Club 33 as head of Disneyland's food and beverage services. He said the total probably won't be raised much above 500. The challenge is figuring out how to allocate the new memberships.

Been a guest there, got the Club 33 shot glass, hope to return someday. :earsboy:
