Clowns are, well, ..........

yes...clowns are absolutely terrifying!!!! i hate them... if their are any clowns on the disboards... STAY AWAY!!
that movie "it" by stephen king... totally freaked me out...i had nightmares.. and i usually do not have nightmares... about anything... so yeah... i guess you could say... clowns are, well, very scary! inDEED!

I am really scared and creeped out by clowns! During one trip to WDW, there was a clown convention there, and hundreds of them marched down Main Street USA before the afternoon parade. I thought I was going to lose my mind- and so did DS who was really freaked out and kept saying, "I don't like those smileys!!".

Hey now.....clowns <b>are</b> getting better....now they use a pump when they blow up a balloon to make animals...in days of old....they blew their bad breath in the balloon....

even though i just came to their defense...

Me, too! But I have always hated clowns, and those BIG Headed things in Parades-something about them approaching me just creeps me out!

I used to think my sister (Bratus913) was a freak because she was so terrified of clowns her whole life. It's funny how many people are afraid of them, even adults.

And yes, I LOVED the movie Killer Klowns from Outer Space. What a total cult classic!

Well, around these parts, we have a group that could be called "clowns for Christ" if you like. It's a group that will come to your church and carry out a service...without saying a word. There is a tape playing in the background and different music accompanies different parts of the service.

Otherwise, everythings done by looks and gestures. In the end, the whole church is in close communion with each other and not a word has passed the clown's lips. It was good!

On the other hand, once we moved into a house and in the basement I found this big old clown doll. It was hideous. I tried to keep it but was too disturbed by its grinning macabre face. I don't like to throw out things, but I finally realized that I didn't have to have it around even though it could have been worth $40. or more dollars.

Clowns ARE creepy! I haven't liked them since I saw Poltergeist.

My aunt collects clown figurines. She has a ton of them in her house. It freaks me out to go over there.

Clowns can be made to look creepy but I love normal clowns. I think that they're hilarious and I love to play with them when they interact. I also love mimes and living statues who of course also have painted faces.
