I'm sick and tired of my sister critizing me and saying "You're SUCH a tomboy! All your friends will be guys and you'll never have a BF!" :confused3 Okay, so I don't like wearing shorts and low cut clothing. I wear t-shirts. Is that okay for a girl to wear? Apparently not at my school. I wear designer clothes so people don't think I'm a total tomboy. I DO have friends that are girls. Does anyone else feel the same way with clothing? Or is it just me acting like a total tomboy? -.-

=\

You just need to add girlish charms to the TShirts and stuff

Yes when i get home i wear sweats and t-shirts but when it comes down to school i feel forced to wear designer clothes so others dont think i'm weird

That is another thing I love about being homeschooled. No one is judging me about what I wear. When I go out I do wear normal jeans and A& F tops.

i'm typing this in a hoodie and sweats. my hair is in a bun. I wore this same outfit to school last week.

i have lots of friends and a boyfriend who loves me.

your sister is being stupid. clothes don't matter.

Allison.
All I wear is T-shirt, jeans, and hoodies.
I occasionally wear shorts. I usually wear denim capris.
I NEVER wear any dress up shirts, every shirt in my closet is a t-shirt.
I HATE skirts, and dresses and only wear them when I have to for special events for my school things. Low cut things are horrible for me.
My hair is usually in a pony tail, and I wear flip flops.
All I have is girl friends and you won't not have a boyfriend just because you wear t-shirts and not designer clothes, that's ridiculous. Clothes don't matter.
I have never wore any designer clothes in my life.

Your sister is wrong, clothes dont matter.
I'm ALWAYS in a T-shirt and jeans and a hoodie.
i hate skirts, dresses, and low cut things, they seem to bother me.
Dressing up and looking a certin way shouldnt be a problem if that friend or BF sees you for the inside.

I may be male, but it's fine to wear T-shirts and jeans. They're the most comfortable thing to wear in my opinion, but you should wear what you want, what makes you comfortable, and don't let your sister criticize you. Clothes aren't important; what's on the inside is important.

what you wear is very important
it shows others wht your like , how you feel ect.
so dress in whatever you love, if its a t-shirt and shorts cool , if its a dress with designer heels, cool
just wear what makes you , you :goodvibes
you shouldn't care about what your sister or anybody says about your style
:upsidedow

She's lying.
I only wear hoodies, jeans and t-shirt and don't care what people think about how i dress. I only ever wear skirts on specail occasions and not oftern! I was very lucky that i went to a school with a uniform (all do in England). And the whole boyfriend thing is not true, i am a bit of a tomboy, but i have had a boyfriend for 3 years now. If they really love you, they don't care about clothes.

Tshirts are not tomboyish! There are plenty of giirly tshirts. What should all girls wear camis and frilly shirts 24/7?? yeah right. I love wearing tshirts, skinny jeans, and a nice comfy sweater. Its like my "go to" outfit.
You will have a boyfriend some day. And honestly, how much do guys even notice the clothes girls wear? (unless its a slutty shirt, and in that case the guy is noticing the clothing for all the wrong reasons)
Be true to yourself. Your style is just that...YOUR OWN.

Don't listen to your sister.

I'll wear sweats to school.
I'll wear regular, nondesigner clothes to school.
I'll wear clothes that don't even match (gasp) to band practice.

Guess what I love about school?
No one cares what I'm wearing at all. As long as I'm wearing something within guidelines, I'm good.

I have a boyfriend in the marching band. My mom pointed out to me that he probably sees me at my worst. (Hence, nonmatching clothes.)

I don't care. If you're comfortable in what you're wearing, that's all that should matter.

Who cares if someone doesn't like what you're wearing?

Don't conform to them.

Be yourself.

I only wear jeans, and a t-shirt. Hoodies and nice shirts too.
I don't own a single dress that isn't for formal occasions.
And I don't have one skirt.

It only seems like I get attention when I wear designer or tight clothing. I hate tight clothing. It makes me feel like I'm trapped. It just makes me uncomfortable. I rarely wear Disney shirts because I KNOW I'll get teased. Next Friday is hat day. I'd absolutely LOVE to wear a Cowboy hat if I had one. Of course I would get teased by everyone because it's not normal for a 13 year old girl to like Country music.

My sister buys girly clothing for me. I'm not going to wear them. One of them it exposes the back a little bit.

Thanks for all the responces. I'll just try to just ignore what everyone says.

I agree with the person who hates dresses and skirts, i hate them too i also hate skorts. But at my school we have a dress code : Collared Shirts ( Any color ), jeans, and tennis shoes or any shoes that are not flip flops slippers or anything. But when im at home i dress in clothes that i used to wear a long time ago XD. Sorry if you think im weird..:(:sad1: And who cares what other ppl think, you tell them that you like to be unique XD
