Clothes Washer Troubles

My washer seems to get the clothes clean, but now it doesn't want to spin dry them completely. I thought at first the load was unbalanced, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. It spins them, but the clothes are quite damp when I take them out. It's done this with 3 loads now.I hope it can be fixed easily. We really can't afford a new washer now, and I'd hate to spend money fixing up a 9 year old washer to have it break down a month from now. Any advise or ideas?

Get a new one.. that is the same thing that happened to mine.. It started out by having the clothes come out pretty damp..then went to actually soaking wet.. then the machine just stopped spinning totally and I had to do without for about a week.. that was the first delivery they could set up with me. Do not pay to get it fixed it is that old.. it isn't worth it. The newer machines are much more energy efficient and use less water..

forgot to mention.. look for stores having the no interest no payments for x amount of months.. also free shipping.. if you start now, you may find something by the time it breaks for good ..
