Clothes storage question....

I just looked at pictures of the inside of a OKW studio. I just realized that the only place to store folded clothes in the small chest of drawers that the TV sits on.

Our group will be 2 adults and 2 kids (7 & 5).

I did buy a clear shoe organizer thing to hang on the bathroom door to keep our bathroom stuff all organized.

I was thinking about putting the day's clothes in individual large ziplock baggies for the kids.

Any ideas on how to manage our clothes so that we don't feel like we are living out of our suitcases?

There is also a closet about 5 feet wide where you can hang clothes. I'm sure with 4 people in the studio,t here will be some feeling of "living out of suitcases".

There are four drawers if I remember correctly. If each person puts their clothes in one drawer and hangs a few things in the closet, then you should be fine. We found there wasn't much space to put toys and purchases so we ended putting things like that in our suitcases. We also brought a collapsible hamper for dirty laundry and that made a huge difference in keeping the room tidy.

Use the closet and request extra clothes hangers. They will bring them to you at no extra charge. You can also use the bottom of the night table. When I get a studio I use that to put my son's clothes in! My DD, DH and I hang most of our stuff in the closet ex: shirts, pants, and put the rest of the stuff like shorts, underwear, bathingsuits ect. in the drawers. Hope this helps.

We always hang our clothes. We throw extra hangers into the suitcase. When I take shorts, I put them straight from where I have them hung at home into the suitcase, hanger and all. Then when we get there, hang them up in the closet. If you shake them before you hang them, the wrinkles usually fall out.
