Clothes question

Hey y'all...just wanted to ask a quick question about what to wear to dinner. I noticed that several of you said that you thought it was okay to wear capris to dinner, but do you think it would still be okay if they were blue jean capris?? I have a pair and thought of dressing them up with a cute shirt to wear to dinner one night, but I noticed on the Disney site that they ask for blue jeans not to be worn. Just wanted to see what everyone's opinion was on this! As always, THANK YOU!

I think it depends on how "blue jean" they are. My DIL had a dark blue pair and wore a sweater set. It really dressed it up and looked cute.

I'd say definitely not. If they're jeans capris, they're still jeans - which are not acceptable at dinner. I have some denim capris, which I won't wear at night on a cruise. I have some that are not denim, but a jeans style - and won't wear them at night either. What I will wear are capris that would look like non-jeans if they were regular length <g>.

I vote for yes....but I hate dressing up anyway lol....JMO

They ask that no jeans be worn in the dining rooms so I personally wouldn't wear them the dinner.

I would say no...don't wear them at dinner time. Lunch and breakfast are fine..that's when I wore mine.

I would also say no. I think capri jeans are even more casual than regular jeans.

I would wear them at breakfast and lunch and wear something else for dinner- even though I am sure that they are really cute! (I have some and love them too!)

I just wouldn't want to take the risk of feeling funny. I went on an awesome anniversary outing a few months ago with my husband (dinner at The Palm, awesome seats for the musical "Chicago", clubbing afterward etc.) but I had chosen to wear a dress that was much more low-cut than usual for me. I'm sure that many people would say that it was "fine" or even "appropriate" but I was uncomfortable and sure that people were staring at me all night! I'm sure that they weren't- LOL- but the point is that I wasn't comfortable with my choice so it really put a damper on my fun.

So if you do choose to wear them, don't doubt yourself at all and have CONFIDENCE! If you are unsure- don't wear them and ruin an otherwise fun evening!

I totaly agree with mickeyfanmom...on wear what you feel comfortable and confident in. Don't dress up just to dress up if your feeling uncomfortable in it. I saw mamy very casual people durring our cruise. Even on formal night a couple came in wearing tight jeans and short short top....of course the guy wasn't wearing the short top....but just a regular old tee shirt....and that was on formal night. They were the only ones who really caught my attention....and lead me to think anything of it...On the regular dinning night I noticed a few people dressed casual...but didn't give it another thought.

I'd say if you feel dressed enough in your jean capris then go for it. After all it is your vacation...where your planning on having a good time...don't let what you wear or think you need to wear alter your good times.
