Clothes Help

We are going on a 5 night cruise on the Wonder in March. I'm trying to decide how many fancy outfits I will need to bring for my kids for dinner. Is there one formal night or are they all minus pirate night, dressy clothes?

I was hoping on one formal and the rest khaki shorts with a nice shirt.

5 night cruises have one "Dress Up Optional" night. Dress fancy, or not, as you wish. Generally Cruise Casual is the dress. And, of course, there's Pirate night.

For all our cruises my son takes 1 pair of black slacks and 2 button down shirts that he rotates. He always wears a shirt underneath and it's only on for a couple hours. I wear the same pair of slacks and rotate 4 dress shirts for week long cruises. But as @PrincessShmoo said, it's all completely optional.
