Clothes Hangers

Hello,

How many and what type of hangers do we have in the staterooms? I am mostly wondering if I will have clips for hanging up skirts and pants. Also, can you request additional hangers?

We always had the normal ones and the ones with clips for skirts. And you can request additional ones from your stateroom host.

I actually bring my own each cruise. I use thin plastic coated wire hangars that I put my clothes on and then pack them that way in the suitcase. When I get to the room I just take them out and hang them up...easy peasy!

But, yes, you can request more from your cabin steward. I find the wooden ones onboard very thick and take up a lot of room in the closet.

We found there were plenty of hangars in the closet and there were hangars with clips as well! Yes, you can ask for more hangars if needed.

I also bring my own extras. We are a family of three and I am an over-packer so we always have a closet full of clothes.

We always seem to have too many hangers. If they aren't holding clothes, they will sway and bang together which is really annoying at night. We've learned to take the extras and put them in the bottom of the closet.

Yes! Your cabin attendant will be happy to bring you more hangers.

Do they have and child size hangers? I know my daughter will have a few dresses that will need hanging and normal hangers are too large.

And in the event of rough seas, take them out of your closet! One particularly rollicking night, we could NOT figure out what the clinking noise was!

Very good question for some reason I doubt that they do, I always bring my DS hangers from home.

This is especially a good thing to remember on the last night. Things are fine while you have actual clothes on the hangers, but after you've packed your suitcase for the end of the cruise those hangers will just be clinking around. Either put them on the floor of the closet or run a towel through the center of all of them.
