I would go with layers and waterproof. And if Ash is anything like my middle DD - make sure it's PINK!

I think layers are definitely the way to go, that way you can add more and take them off as needed.

If the worst comes to the worst though, you could always buy a couple of hoodies when you're there.

Just make sure you remember something waterproof as it will be much colder if you're wet

Lottie is slightly older and she wore thermal base layers with normal clothes over the top and then thick salopettes (very pink from Millets) and a ski jacket with fleece inside, she had hat, scarf and gloves and was lovely and warm!
