Closures in August 2016?

I'm sure this has been covered but I couldn't make sense of the dates I read. Am I correct that as of January '16 Rivers of America and the Disneyland train will be shut down for the year? I saw some things about Big Thunder. Is that just the ranch or the ride as well?

The Ranch and BBQ will close in January. The ride should remain open (unless it has it's own refurb scheduled that has nothing to do with Star Wars land).
Yes. ROA attractions are set to be closed at least one year.

Yes, DLR recently announced that the River of America (including the Mark Twain, Columbia, Canoes, and Tom Sawyers Island) and the Train would shut down at the end of the operating day on January 10, 2016. No official re-opening date has been announced, but they've been saying those will be closed for at least a year on several social media sites.

Big Thunder Ranch (including the petting zoo and BBQ) will also be closing at the end of the operating day on January 10, 2016. Those will not re-open. Big Thunder Mountain, the roller coaster, is not affected by the closures (at this point).

Thanks all! Really the only one that makes me a little sad is the loss of the railroad. DS loves trains and he would have loved to ride it! I guess the monorail and a return trip will have to do!
