The Who: Me , My Wife & our 10yr old (one day my brother in law whos a Florida local)
The What: 8 Days of Disney Chaos!
The When: August 16th through the 24th
The Where: Gran Destino at Coronado Springs
The Why: We try to do one larger trip a year, so we drive our Tesla down & book a nice balanced resort stay so that my Wife and I get some chill time & our 10yr old daughter gets VIP fun treatment lol Since I'm home and have the time i logistically plan everything , my wife & daughter get to reap the rewards by having rides/dining/petting Rhinos or whatever else i pepper'd .... we all talk thorugh the planning but i try to keep a few fun suprises hidden until launch day.
I’m 44 & retired at 34 (full time stay at home dad) was remote working from 21 (after 9/11) till 34 when my daughter was born then called it quits. We have family in Florida so when we would visit we would pepper in some smaller trips & one of my friends who was on the Giants got married in Palm Springs a few years back so we took her to Disneyland after the weekend ceremony. Disney is a monumental anxiety tests for me but I power through for my daughter & find joy in the planning (thanks fo disboards!)
We missed a few years with Covid & lockdown so the last 2 years have been much longer & fun trips.
This year was declined for DAS but the cast members gave me numerous lightning lanes for our full stay that I have in addition to our Multipass bookings so every park day should be able to balance things out.
Our Dining reservations for the week
Its nice to cruise to other resorts have dinner and chill out before heading back to our pool.
Fingers crossed for nice weather!
