closing date?

We bought our DVC on 3/3 over the phone. When we received our paperwork the following week it had a closing date of 4/22, and the 1st month's payment was based on that closing date. Our 1st payment is 6/15 so it was prorated 4/22-5/31.

Anyway, earlier this week we received our signed documents back from Disney with a stamped DVC date of 3/18 (the copies of the paperwork you get back. The spot where the DVC must sign).

Anyway, does that mean we closed on 3/18 or are we offically not closed yet until 4/22?

Just wondering how this effects our 1st payment as well as official status (as it pertains to DVC perks).

the closing date stays the same even though you have signed your documents and they have been finalized i purchased in January over the phone my first payment is not unitl May first and it is pro rated as well.

Closing date doesn't change... we bought in Feb, with a closing date April 15.
