Closest Vacation home?

Looking for a condo, rental, or something that is REALLY close to WDW...and nice. With comfortable beds. The past two times I've rented a condo or vacation home, the mattress was HORRIBLE! Any suggestions?

Ironically both times we stayed were at Emerald Isle...The location, property, and everything was PERFECT! They only problem was that the beds were hard as ROCKS! I realize this varies from owner to owner...I just wish there was a way to know which ones spend the $$ on decent beds...Seriously, we had to leave each time because the mattresses were so bad...the last time we left we went to the Poly - those beds are heaven!!! I hated to pay the extra money, but we were miserable and needed somewhere to go.

I am sure if you ask the owners if the mattresses are comfortable or not they will tell you! I know I hate the hard mattresses!

I agree with you about the hard beds, the king size ones seem to be the worst. One time I went out and bought one of those eggshell foam toppers to put on it and it did help. Here is a 5 bedroom house that states it has memory foam tops on all the mattresses. It's in the Windsor Hills subdivision which is very close to Disney. http://www.vrbo.com/98669

I know that the homes at www.romancingthemouse.com all have memory foam tops, I believe. Their homes are too big for us, but the service and homes sound heavenly.
