Closest steak to Rose & Crown?

This question is for us “old timers” who remember when Rose & Crown had steak on the menu.

It was my daughter’s absolute favorite meal on property and we are going to Disney again in April for her birthday.

Does any steak on property come close to the flavoring / taste of the one that used to be at Rose & Crown?

We have never been to R&C but love Le Cellier. You get the amazing pretzel bread and I always have the mushroom fillet and maple creme brûlée for dessert. Another favorite is Chefs de France.

I looked at some of the old Rose and Crown menus and saw they used to serve a grilled sirloin steak. One of the only places I know of that serves a sirloin steak currently at WDW is Steakhouse 71 who has a top sirloin on the menu. From what I have seen, Steakhouse 71 has been getting some pretty great reviews, so perhaps you might want to try there.

The menu description for Chef de France looks promising! The R & C steak was a sirloin vs a filet at Chef de France but it had a whiskey / peppercorn sauce & it seems to be very similar in the description!

Steakhouse 71 has like 7 sauces. You get to pick one plus a side with your steak.
