We are are staying at Disneyworld for 8 nights and on the 9th night we want a nice oceanfront hotel that we can enjoy our last night of vacation. I see Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach, any other ideas? Which is preferable? :sunny:

I vote for Cocoa Beach... better shell picking and less populated... = more relaxing... Daytona is busy busy busy...

Depends on what you like?

How about West to Clearwater Beach? It will take longer to get there though. Longboat Key or Siesta Key a little farther South, near Sarasota.

We stopped at Daytona Beach last year on the way down to WDW and it wasn't what we were looking for at all. Much too busy, crowded, etc. for our taste. We are used to going to Nags Head, NC for the beach, and it wasn't the same.

Vere Beach Resort it's part of Disney, DVC.

Of the two you choose, I would pick Cocoa Beach. We enjoy it for day trips from our home in Orlando.

I cannot comment on Cocoa Beach, but I have been to Daytona. I did not think it was all that great.
