Closest/most convenient grocery store

Can anyone give me the name and location of the closest grocery store? We’ll be staying at AKL Kidani.

Publix and a Super (full grocery) Target are both the same distance from AKL (on opposite sides of the highway). Driving distance to both is about 1.5 miles (.5 miles as the crow flies but you cannot walk through woods and swamp area to get there): exit AKL, turn right on Sherbeth Rd (first light after exiting AKL), go to and turn right onto US Highway 192 (A/K/A Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway): entrance to both (Target on left and Publix on right) is before the the highway bridge for Highway 429 that sits over highway 192.

Actually, after measuring it along the roads, it is closer to about 3.8 miles. When you start out you are driving in the opposite direction from the stores. Via road it is .8 miles from Kidani just to get to the AKL exit.

There is also a new Walmart 3 miles from Kidani, using Sherberth to Irlo Bronson. Make a left onto the Irlo Bronson.

We like that Publix, very nice store.

Coming in on 417 there are 2 exits you can take.
One takes you to Publix on John Young Parkway.
the other takes you to Target. We used to go to Publix. Now we go to Target, as we can buy a 2 dollar cooler to keep everything cold until we get to our resort.
We usually stop at DS before arriving at the resort.
