Closest hotel to Downtown Disney???

I "think" the Hilton might be the closest....is it?? Is it walking distance?

The Hilton and Buena Vista Palace are about the same distance and within walking distance ( 5 min or so ) Wyndham Lake Buena Vista and Holiday Inn next. On this map his map they are the 173 -176
markers and DTD Marketplace area is 177.

The Hilton is a very good choice, not only is it footsteps away from Downtown Disney, it is also a very short walk away from lots of restaurants and shops at the Crossroads Shopping center. We were staying there 16 days, and we never had to rent a car or use a taxi to get anywhere, there is ample shuttles to the parks, walking distance to DTD and Lake Buena Vsista, frequent public transportation to International Drive. We even took a direct bus to and from the airport ($2 - a shame they canceled that service).

Not having to deal with shuttles to go to restaurants and shops was the dealbreaker for us - this hotel probably has the best location in Orlando.

Also, I must say that the rooms are big and comfortable, and the swimming pools and jacuzzis are very nice.

We are going back in September.

I stayed at Saratoga Springs Resort last March in the Congress Park area and we had a lovely walk through a mini forest area to DTD every morning. The walk took no more than 5 minutes and we had my DD walking with us, she was 2 years 4 months at the time.
