I have problems with the cricut cutting titles or anything with a swirl. Let's see, paper tearing, paper sliding off mat, not cutting through completely, scratching paper as it cuts and my all time favorite, paper getting stuck on blade and nothing cutting.

I feel your pain, I can say that truly.

They look great. It didn't need a shadow. There are plenty that don't have the shadow and still look fine.


Hope the cricut is better with other swap items.

I'm glad to hear that it isn't just my machine that doesn't cut swirls or some fonts well! I think I need to re-sticky my mats (not sure how?) or maybe just buy some new ones.

I use my mats until they pretty much don't stick at all. I was very annoyed with the Cricut this morning. I will admit to a few choice words leaving my lips I'm glad to hear that it's not just me and I *really* hope that the next sets go a lot easier!

I am not the best at matching paper either. I tend to just paper from one theme in a line. Like a Basic Grey line or a DCWV stack.

Oh, and I forgot to put the dot on the 'i' before I took the picture, it is there now. The 'n' in American is not glued down, and the strip with the stars is pop-dotted up so you can slide photos under it.
