We are DVC owners that are short 2 (two) points for a vacation in Paradise Pier California either May 9-16 or May 22-30 or short 16 points for the same dates but in Disneyland Hotel.
Please let me know if you can transfer. This is the first time I do this so please let me know how it works and if I am able to rent those points instead of transfering them since I know you can only transfer once a year. natalie (at) natalieorriols (dot) com

Renting is generally the term used for having the DVC member make the reservation for you, I believe. As you are only 2-16 points short, I believe your best option would be a point transfer, but as you say, if you can only do one per year,that may be problematic. I'm checking on a reservation availability for someone on Monday, I'll see if I can ask then to clarify the policy. Thanks so much!

Member Services confirmed only one transfer per year, so we'd definitely be looking to transfer a value closer to the points that we're not going to be using.. sorry!

As far as Use year, Sep 2008 means good from Sep-2008 thru Aug-2009 stays, so your timeframe is fine.

I can call and check your dates, Paul. Quick question.. what is VWL? Do you mean Wilderness Lodge? Just making sure.
