Due to juggling reservations in order to get exactly what I wanted, I now have 82 "Reservation Points". These may be used for stays in the "Disney Collection" including the 3 hotels at Disnelyand California, 6 non-DVC hotels at Disney World, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and the cruise line. By no coincidence, 82 points will get you a weekend in the Grand Californian! ;)

These points must be used prior to Sep 1, 2009.

Offering at $8 per point (negotiable).

Have 13 "conventional" points I could borrow to plus up a reservation if needed, at higher per-point rate.

I am looking at something at Disney World and will email you with the details! - Thanks Brendan

I guess I do not have enough posts to be able to email you directly, sorry. I am interested in checking in on Wednesday February 4th for 2 nights if possible at WDW. My order of preference would be the G.V. at the POLY, G.V. at the Contemporary or the G.S.V. at the Contemporary, S.V. at the Yacht Club, and finally a Wilderness Cabin. I can pay via Paypal if something is available and finalize any details for the reservation and cost. Thanks for your help - Brendan

How many points does it take to stay at Disneyland's California Lodge Hotel per night? Can the points be used at the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier?

Thanks..............

Points vary by day of week (Fri/Sat night higher) and view, and season. Chart for Disneyland Resorts here. For most of the days in the next few months (Value Season) GC rooms are 25 weekday and 41 weekend.

Yes, the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier hotel can also be rented for fewer points (or more nights per same # of points, see chart linked above) but you just can't beat walking into the park from your hotel (GC) although riding the monorail to the park from just outside your hotel is pretty cool too.

I would be interested in a studio at OKW from June 14-20...that would be exactly 82 points I think! A studio at BWV would be 83 points. I am flexible on the dates, as long as it is a Sun.-Thurs. and a Fri. at the end or Sat. at the beginning. It can't be earlier than the 13th, but anytime up until end of July. Let me know if anything is available! Thanks!

lhackney,

Unfortunately I can't use these points for DVC resorts. Once you make a reservation at a "Disney Collection" resort as I did, the exchange of "DVC Points" for "Reservation Points" is nonrefundable.

These points can be used for Disney Hotels at WDW such as Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Yacht Club, Polynesian and a few others that I don't recall in the "Disney Collection", as well as the 3 hotels at the Disneyland resort in California, and at the international resorts. Here's Disney's page on The Disney Collection.

Thanks...I didn't realize there was a difference. I am not a DVC member, although I am thinking about it. I wouldn't mind staying at a regular hotel, preferable the Contemporary. What will the 82 points get there? Thanks for your time!

You can see a point chart for the Orlando resorts here. I linked to the California one earlier in the thread.

For Contemporary resort during Regular season (mostly now through June except for Spring Break and holiday weekends) it looks like 34 points weekday and 62 points weekend.

Note that with the exception of the California resorts, there is an additional $95 fee for these reservations.

I couldn't open the points calendar for DLR. I am interested in several nights depending on points. Beginning Feb. 22 How many nights could I get with your points?
We have rented before. Can I utilize early entry when staying on points? Please PM.
Thanks,
Lisa

Point chart is linked higher up in the thread, but I can see from your PM that you found it... 30 points a night on weekdays starting Feb 22. :)

The points have now been taken so I'm closing the thread.

Sorry I couldn't help everyone!
