Just an update to clarify my original post. My points are Dec. 2011 use year, so reservations can be no earlier than Dec. 1, 2011. If I were to use the points myself for a reservation in say Oct or Nov I would just borrow the points. But to borrow points for a rent I would need to be paid before making the reservation and most potential renters would not go for that and I would not want to put anyone in that position either.

So I have 107 points left for reservations after Dec. 1, 2011.
