Anyone interested in doing a Photopass share in October? I've organized two Photopass shares before and participated in one where I wasn't the leader. I will be there October 1-10 so I can take people a little before my dates and a little afterward.
For those of you who don't know, a Photopass share happens when a number of people get together and split the cost of a Photopass CD. The leader is responsible for collecting the money, pre-ordering the CD, making sure everyone gets to enter their photos into one account and then mailing off discs to everyone once the Photopass disc arrives.I'd like to keep the group small (5-6 people) if possible. The Photopass site gets a little slow when the groups are big because of the number of photos.
Some things to keep in mind:
- If you are participating in the share, you will have to enter your Photopass numbers in the group account. Don't go and create your own account!! If you do, your pictures won't be included in the share.
- You may have to wait a little while before you get an actual disc in the mail since everyone has slightly different vacation dates.
- Your photos will be seen by others in the group while they are editing. It doesn't bother me but I know some people like their privacy.
