I had a nice multiquote going last night, and then got so tired I had to go to bed!!! I'm not feeling very well, so I think that's the problem. I mean it was 9:30 and I couldn't keep my eyes open!!!
So, I'm so sorry if I miss anyone!!
Jeanne- I love love love! all the outfits you made! Especially Lilly's Snow White and Cinderella!!! FABULOUS!
Haganfam- Those Minnie dresses were great!!
April- I really like the shorts with the shirt. I think it goes together great!
Beth-

I just know someday you will be able to kiss him goodnight without any fear!
I posted this dress the other night but when my DH came home from work he said it was cute but it looked like a pillowcase so I changed it

I like pillowcase dresses but this one wasn't supposed to actually look like one
Before:
After:
And her Tinkerbell outfit I made today:
I didn't realize until I had already serged it all together that in two places the same squares were too close together.

I didn't feel like re-doing it so I'm leaving it
Everyone here does fabulous work and I love looking at everyone's stuff. I only go to Disney once a year and I don't sell my stuff so that's why I don't post in this section very often. I think I posted a few times last spring. I love sewing even though I'm not an expert
Now, don't hit me, but I REALLY liked it before you took the pink off! It is cute now, but in the future, remember husband's don't know what they are talking about!!!
We aren't a selling group, so no reason not to post if you don't sell! I think I've sold 5 things in the almost 2 years I've been posting here!
Another reminder to count our blessings!
Jakob has been admitted to the hospital from the DMBFan give. She has posted on her TR and her caring bridge site about it. Hopefully it will be nothing major. Poor fellow has been in the hospital so much this past month!

Jessica, thank you for letting us know!
Having camera/computer issues this morning.
What do you guys use to get your photos from card to the computer. As in what program? I used to use kodak, came with the camera or can be downloaded for free. Well, they upgraded, which just made it horrible and slow and I can't stand it. So I went to HP but it is suddenly being wonky since I have been back. I can't edit the photos. This morning it won't even transfer them. It usually doesn't give me an option of which I want to transfer but it knows what it has already transferred and doesn't do those ones. Today, it was trying to do them all. It gets to the last picture every time and then something happens and it won't transfer any!
So, thoughts! Anyone? I am at a loss.
Jessica, I never use a program to transfer my pictures. Well, sometimes I use Picasa, but not usually. What I do is hook up your camera and turn it on (or if I'm on my desktop I put it in the cardreader slot) go to MyComputer, and you should see your camera there listed as a drive, click it, then keep clicking until you get to where your pictures are, I then select all, cut, and paste them into a folder wherever I keep my pictures.
Thanks Minnie2. Oh, and here is the pic full size. Sorry about the bad quality, I think it was too dark in the room. I love her end of the day, saggy pigtails! I had to re-upload the pic again. Now it should be good
Oh, Jessica. I don't know how much help I am going to be but I just save the pics to a file in my computer. It pops up as an option when I insert a memory card. I don't use a program. If I want to edit and crop them, I use infranview (a free download) or photobucket. I hope that helped a little.
I love it! So cute!
Okay, one last attempt and then I really need to go get some work done.....
This camera really does stink....I thought Kodak easy shares had a high rating? I must be doing something wrong.....
I don't know WHY it never occured to me to make a skirt out of this kind of fabric!!
...more about The Big Give? Or give me a link to read about it? I have been reading random pages in this sewing thread. I *love* to sew/create & am planning our first trip to WDW next year. I'm guess The Big Give is to create items for special families? I went to the Disboutiquers Big Give website, but you have to register. Is that a separate forum? Sorry to be so clueless!
This comes from the very first post on the thread:
