We're just under the 1-month mark until we arrive at WL!! (1/7-1/12) Can't wait!

Only things left to do are put in our room request (high floor, north wing -- for our woods view bunk room) and pack! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Well we are finally home from our amazing trip! The wilderness Lodge was nothing short of amazing! The decorations were beautiful the tree was incredible. We truly enjoyed both pools. The staff in CL went above and beyond for us...always had a smile on their faces! Food was great and always plentiful at the OFL. Construction was NOT an issue for us in anyway. We loved our stay so much, we're thinking we'll be back there next year! Our dates were not included in the bounce back offer, but if it was, we would have been booked by now!!! LOL Thanks again to Kook and everyone who helped me in planning my stay at WL. We really did feel like we were 'home' when we were there!!

So are we!!! Maybe we will see you!! You should send me a PM when you're in there and we'll try to meet!!!! We are still hanging out at AoA while hubby is at WL checking in as we speak!! Can't wait!!!!
Oops ... I'm sorry I missed this post :(
It would have nice to meet another board member.

Spent 10 days at disney and WL club level. Had to stay in deluxe room due to number of kids. Felt a little isolated as we were not on the 7th floor. Otherwise great trip, concierges were amazing, booked bounce back for 11/19-11/28. Only complaint was the pool failed to open as scheduled. Used the villas pool but not the same. Got $50 night credit as a result.

Can't wait till next year....

We'll be there Sunday 12/14. Is there a grill at VWL? Last time we were there it had been taken to be repaired and we had to gril our dinner at FW campground. It used to be behind the bicycle rental building.
It was still in the sand behind Teton Boat Rental in July, but I don't know if it's still there now. Maybe somewhere who was there recently noticed it:listen:

Thank you for letting everyone know your thoughts on WL and CL. The OFC has a wonderful "cast" and I hope you get to book a return trip soon.

You do feel a bit removed from CL when you stay in a Deluxe room and sometimes the standard CL services are hit or miss on a different floor. Great that you were able to book the BB and I'll log your dates:)

Hello!

I am officially booked for Jan 13-16, WL Club Level! This will be my first club level stay, so I'm not exactly sure what to expect. I will be traveling with my Grandmother. Working on our FP and ADR arrangements since it is short notice I have been stalking the website for cancellations on things, getting close thankfully.

I do have one question, who should I contact about my room requests?

I have found better ADRs the past few days than I did 5 1/2 months out.

All I am missing is one Ohana about 2 hours earlier than what I have, and the elusive dessert party that I am hoping for. I know the party is unlikely but this wouldn't be the first time I have picked one up such short notice. Wonder if they would be able to help at all.

We just spent an evening dining at Artist Point for our anniversary, and got to the hotel about 1-1/2 hours early for our reservation, so had an opportunity to walk around and check things out. This has long been dh's favorite hotel, especially at Christmastime, and he has me convinced to spend next year's anniversary weekend club level at Wilderness Lodge. So wondering if anyone can tell me how to go about getting a king bed room on the club floor, don't really care about the view so much, but would prefer a single bed since its just the 2 of us, would LOVE to book a honeymoon suite, not seeing an option for that ?

Call for the honeymoon suite. They offered it to me twice when I called, but neither of those times did it show up online. We decided to go with a studio at VWL because the third time I called, club level was booked up.

Looks like we are going to switch to WL CL for Easter due to GF pool refurb. This will be our third stay at WL, but first CL. Bunk beds are priority number one for DD, so I was going to request a bunk bed room close to the lounge. Do you know if they even have bunk bed rooms on the CL floor? It sounds like I want to stick to that floor for the full benefit of CL? I'd appreciate your input! TIA!!

Congratulations on booking the OFC! I think you and DGM will love it. Once booked, just email the IPO (Itinerary Planning Office) with any requests. Include your last name and reservation number in the subject line. Let us know if you have more questions and I'll log your dates in our Lodgers' Log:)

Follow danikoski's advice and call to book a Honeymoon Suite. There are only four of them though so book ASAP. There are some CL Kings, but it's by-request only and I believe all or most are HA (Handicap Accessible) rooms which aren't as desirable if you don't have a physical need for one. If no one has requested a HA King and one is available, they will put those who requested a King into one.

Welcome and congratulations on switching. There are bunks available on the CL floor, but like King rooms and particular views, they are by-request only. The only CL rooms that aren't on the CL's 7th floor are the 25 Deluxe rooms on floors 1-6. Most who request a CL bunk seem to have their request fulfilled.

Thanks so much! I wrote them an email with the requests. It feels so strange! haha!

Very excited! I'm heading down for a quick offsite trip with my DH the 20th-23rd of this month, so I have just been drowning in Disney planning lately! It'd be awesome if they end up being able to help a bit with this January trip! :goodvibes

That's great to know! At least we have a shot at it anyway! Thanks much!!

The pool heater is still not working. :(

Yikes!
I hope it is fixed soon. We're just 10 days out now:cool1:!
I have a feeling it's going to be crowded soon--my sister arrives on the 21st, she just tried to add a day (the 20th) and the WL is completely sold out!

We just decided to cancel our dinner rez on the 20th and just enjoy the resort and do some hanging out, see the movie, etc.

I have waitlisted a stay for a week in April. Has anyone had success with waitlists or is it a real longshot? Thanks:)

I am set as well. I would lie to move a breakfast 30 minutes earlier in order to see a show but we got the dessert party last year literally the night before our trip. I think I got it at like 1am! Good luck!

Is WL at capacity next week as well? I assume it is. It wasn't last year I do not think. It seemed empty.
