Going back to the Boardwalk in October. Good cast rate for now, hoping for the 60% off before we go. So we are heading home the 15 th to the 22nd!
:cool1:

We modified our reservation for September and got 30% off a one bedroom at BWV. My sister is traveling with us, and she just booked at BWI. I'm very excited. This is our first stay at BWV and only our second stay in the Epcot area.

Thank you!!

I had read elsewhere that there could be a charge because Boardwalk is a conference hotel.

Grocery orders go to Bell Services because they have a fridge/freezer for perishables, no extra fee. If you have a package delivered to the resort, that will go to the Business Center. That is when you will be charged a fee for the Business Center to accept the package and store it for you.

Just booked 10/31-11/4 with free dining!!! Can't wait! First time at an epcot resort. The only thing is, I'm afraid of clowns!!! :/

Yeah - my kiddos were freaked out over clowns but nothing scares them like the chairs in the lobby!

Never look at the clown at the pool at night - yikes!

BWV question: Has anyone here requested "near Hollywood Studios walkway" and been given a villa near it? Or is that an obscure request? Would there be a better way to word it?

That makes perfect sense! My cell phone died on vacation last year and I was charged for it when I picked it up but we had picked up our own groceries, so I didn't know.

Thank you!

Do you want to be at the end nearest Hollywood studios? Because the walkway runs all along the pool/garden view villas. What view do you have booked? If pool/garden with DVC points, quiet pool view as a request would put you closer to DHS.

We had a 1 br quiet pool view on the lobby level. We could walk to the end of the hallway and walk right out onto the path.
We could also use another doorway that led us to a path right to the bus stop!
It was wonderful!

Oh yeah, you can log me, too! 11/19 - 11/22 BWV Studio - first time!
:thumbsup2

First time for is too! I've always wanted to stay here, and the free dining makes it affordable for a splurge. Going with DD7, but it's also DH and mine's 10th wedding anniversary! Disney wouldn't be complete without her with us.
I understand completely. Our DD, now 15, has always travelled with us everywhere, including anniversaries:upsidedow. I think it's a nice memory for her and they'll be plenty of time when she goes off to college to take those adult-only trips. Happy planning!

I just booked BWI for September with the new RO discount. I usually stay at WL in September, but I ended up taking an extra WDW trip next month, and I am staying at WL on that trip, so I decided to go back to BWI for a change. Looking forward to hanging out on the boardwalk watching the entertainment and nibbling on a slice of pizza. :)
You know, you could do a BWI/WL split;). But, I assume since you're close by, you make many trips in a year, so splits aren't really necessary?

Congratulations on booking with FD. You're going to love being able to so easily walk to both DHS and Epcot. You can even walk over to several other resorts and Fantasia Golf. The convenience and setting will outweigh any clown fears - you probably won't even notice it much, unless you go down the slide and look back.

I'll log you, too and what a great rate and time of year to go. Did you make any room requests?

How nice that you'll be close to your DS and you applied a nice discount.

Any updates on the BWI room remodel? I'm a newbie and staying at BWI for the first time in 3 weeks!

I'm reading through some of the posts, which spot is the best to request to be on the Epcot end of the resort? I'd love to have a view of the WS.

Also- do all the rooms have balconies?

If you request a view of the quiet pool on the Inn side you can see the Eifel Tower

On site now, club level the last week.

Have seen light work on the fourth floor non club rooms.

Every morning the doors are open and small crews are removing items and prepping surfaces, no major rehab yet.

Can hear work on five, light tapping etc

Received a notice this morning in room about rehab noise and work in progress starting now.

Inn was stripped of window plants today, any items non essential are gone.

We leave tomorrow, last guests club level leave Sunday.

Innkeepers are being reassigned for the rehab, some with limited hours.

Hope the cappuccino machine returns, lots of people upset about that.

Back again in Sept, got bounce back for my dates.

I've been so busy finishing up with school and dealing with graduation announcements and event planning that I've completely forgotten until just a little while ago that I can now take part in the SINGLE DIGIT DANCE!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:     :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
:hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper:

On Saturday May 17th, I will be graduating from the great University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a minor in Secondary Education. I am also very fortunate to have already signed a letter of intent to hire at a local high school that I very much wanted to be hired at. The following morning, I will board a plane with my husband and his sister, who will be celebrating her first visit, to DisneyWorld! We have 5 nights booked with our DVC at BWV, 5 nights booked at AKV, then we will fly to Washington, DC where we have 3 nights booked at the Willard InterContinental. It is finally setting in and I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!

BTW, I choose to use red because my school colors are scarlet and grey and I will be wearing red robes at graduation. Super excited! (As if you couldn't tell...)

We will be at BWI in July and hope to return for a long weekend in November. Do you happen to know if there were black out dates in November for the Bounce Back offer?
