Yes there are hot tubs at both the Inn quiet pool & the Villas quiet pool.
Thank you very much!

According to Shamus' map, 4018 is a pool view room, not a standard view room. Denise
we rented from DVC so who knows they reserved the room maybe it was I just know what we paid for and what reservations said!! I loved the room and wanna go back
I stayed at the BWV last June with my DD and my mom and we absolutely loved it! I am planning a trip for either June or October 2015. This time it will be me, DD, DH, and my in-laws. My husband says he doesn't care when we go as long as it's not crowded. I want to stay at the BWV again because of the location and being able to walk to 2 parks would be great because DH hates riding the buses. I am leaning towards going in October, but I am wondering if the Boardwalk will be busier because of the food and wine festival going on at EPCOT.
I figured if anybody knew if the Boardwalk was busier in October than June, people on this board would know.
Thanks
STANDARD VIEW ROOMS sleep up to 5 (plus one child under 3 in a crib in all rooms) and have either a king bed, a king and a daybed, 2 queens or 2 queens and a daybed.
I noted on the first page of this thread: I looked on TouringPlans "Find a room" tool and it appears there is a very small number of standard 2 Queens + daybed. Is that true? If so, and we can't a daybed room, what are our options for a 5th person?
I meant to edit this to reflect that all BWI rooms have a daybed. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.I noted on the first page of this thread:

Sounds like Touring plans copied the info for BC to BWI! I thought all BWI 2 queen rooms had the daybed?
We must have got lucky on our reservations it's just standard room and then when we did online check in we requested a high floor and pool view ??? And we got itwe rented from DVC so who knows they reserved the room maybe it was I just know what we paid for and what reservations said!! I loved the room and wanna go back

Yes you got an upgrade. Good for you. We are currently here in 5022 a luna park pool view. Our cat is Garden/pool view. 5018 is 2 doors down same view. Congrats on the upgrade.
We are having a great time. Bus service has been great. Only sharing with Swolphin. Yacht & Beavh have their own buses every time I've ridden the bus.

My mom and I just got back from staying at BWI for the first time! We loved it, and would definitely stay again. When we did online check-in, we requested the highest floor, and we were put on the 5th floor, and had a view of BWV's, ToT, and Swan and Dolphin (as well as the entrance to BWI/parking).
The interesting thing was that they did indeed begin renovations, and they began on the 5th floor while we were there! We were in one wing, and they began renovations on the other wing. Within the span of 5 hours they had a wall built AND finished so that you couldn't even really tell they were working on that side, except for the sign.
The room was very very quiet at night, which we loved! The whole experience of being there was fantastic. Being able to walk right into EPCOT had to be my favorite thing, as well as the "brightness" of the rooms.
I'm glad you both had a great stay. Walking to/from Epcot is very pleasant. Sounds lovely and I'll add your dates to the BoardWalk Bulletin.Just booked a short mother-daughter trip 9/11 to 9/14 at Boardwalk Inn standard room. 30% off room only Visa discount.First time at Boardwalk!!
Hope you've been having a wonderful vacationArriving at Coronado Springs tomorrow. Then we're off to BWV for a week on Sunday. So excited!!!

Though I've never stayed in a Garden Cottage, they seem lovely and so roomy. There are lots of photos in the GC section on the first page. I'm sure you'll be enjoying the lovely cottage so much, that the short trips to the Innkeeper's Club won't bother you at all. I think that guests use a staircase that's nearby the cottages. If you have a cottage right below the lounge balcony, you could toss provisions down to DH when he doesn't feel like walking overDH and I will be staying at Boardwalk in October for our second stay there! I just booked while at POR last week and saved 35%! We've spoiled ourselves with CL in the past, and the only availability for our dates was in the Outer Garden Building. Anyone stayed there? The cost is silly, but I can kinda justify it through the BB offer, but I'm concerned that we won't take advantage of the CL offerings since we'll be so far removed (or is it not that far?)
Any insight, input, complaints? Thanks so much!!

Nice to have you here and happy planning!Hi everyone! SO much great info in this thread -- thank you! We will be at BWV for the last 3 nights of our trip this November (first 4 nights at AKV Jambo, which feels like home for us). This will be our first time at BWV, so I'm reading everything I can! So excited! We've actually never stayed at an Epcot-area DVC property, and we're very excited about that, too!
I will probably be coming up with questions over the next 6 months, but just wanted to say hi!![]()
Welcome to the thread and congratulations on booking. I'll log your dates.Joining in on the fun - we are booked in a BWV standard-view studio November 10th - 17th!
This is our first stay as DVC owners!! We own at VGF, so had to wait list BWV at 7 months out, but luckily it came through only 6 days later! SO EXCITED!! I'm over the moon to be staying here!
Does anyone know...are there any standard view rooms in the villas where you can see ToT/DHS? I'm kind of obsessed...![]()
Now to go read through this glorious thread!
Welcome back to the Epcot ResortsWe will also be at BWV from August 14-19 (and then onto AKLV Kidani from August 19-23), our first stay at both! We previously stayed at Beach Club a few years ago, and loved the walking distance to both Epcot and HS, so we are excited to be back in the center of the magic!![]()

Have you tried the touringplans.com Room Locator? Is there a map anywhere that shows the room numbers and locations? I searched around and couldn't find anything online. I'm trying to figure out what room to request out of the standard view studios, any suggestions? I would prefer not a view of the parking lot...
You can add us to the list...11/11/14-11/16/14 BWI CL.....
Glad to read you loved it in June. We're making our first June visit next month and I was a bit apprehensive about the crowds, but with DD's schedule, we had to change from August to JuneI stayed at the BWV last June with my DD and my mom and we absolutely loved it! What great and timely information! I am so relieved to read that they did in fact start on the highest floor. I was concerned that they would start on the CL floor and then the 5th floor either wouldn't be available or it would be un-rehabbed when we arrive next month. We always request the top floor when not staying CL, so I'm so happy that a newly rehabbed top floor room is in fact a possibility for us next month. THANK YOU for posting and I've updated my "Rehab Ramblings" in POST 1 with your confirmation of them starting the rehab on the 5th floor. My mom and I just got back from staying at BWI for the first time!
