Sorry, Beach Club Villas did not have any studios or 1BRs available for your dates. SSR and OKW had studios available for all four days.

I looked on Disney's site for the second weekend and a studio at BCV came up as available, is that different than DVC? I don't know much about DVC.

Are you able/willing to borrow points from your next use year? We are looking for an AKL standard view 2 BR from June 9-16, 2012 - that is 277 points if I calculated correctly. If that doesn't work, we would be interested in a 1BR at Kidani (we will have five people and can't do a 1 BR at Jambo, and we would like two bathrooms) - prefer savannah view at 263 points but would do standard at 220.

We would also be interested in a 1BR at BLT - lake view for 289 points, but we are outside the 7 month window.

If necessary, we could book a couple of nights through WDW directly.

I have up to 210 AKL points with an August 2011 use year available for rent and/or transfer. I would prefer to transfer a single block of points and be done with it, but based on reassurances from friends that renting is a smooth process 99.9% of the time, I am now offering these points for rent as well.

The points are valid for stays through July 31, 2012, although I could bank points for a later reservation if required. I am asking $11 per point for reservations between 7-11 months out using AKL booking priority as I believe the ability to book concierge or value rooms warrants the higher price per point.

For someone who is looking for points anywhere within the next 7 months, I am asking $10 per point.

Feel free to respond to this thread with requests for availability checks or PM with any info requests or offers.

Hi:

Each DVC resort has two categories of availability:

1 - Rooms that are allocated to inventory that has been declared to the timeshare and therefore available for booking only by members using points; and
2 - Undeclared rooms owned by Disney (Disney Vacation Development, or DVD) which is are rented out on a cash basis by Disney, the proceeds of which are used to offset the operating expenses for that particular DVC resort.

The inventory that you see online through the Disney website are rooms owned by DVD that can be booked only for cash. Points can never been used for those rooms. The inventory available to members is just the opposite: it can only be booked by members for points.
