close to parks

I am planning on a trip to WDW in June with my family of seven. I am looking for ideas on where to stay that may be close to the parks. I would love to stay on Property but with 7 people Disney does not have much to offer other than two rooms. Thanks Dave

Have you considered a private rental home - there are some nice communities close to Disney in the Formosa Gardens area (Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Emerald Island)

Agree with deejay, we love Windsor Hills and it's only 5min from AK. There are 2 and 3 bedroom condos, 3 bedroom townhouses with private splash pools, 4 - 6 bedroom pool homes. It's great for everyone to have their own bedrooms, more than one bathroom, kitchen, washer/dryer etc. Many times the rates are cheaper than a hotel room but you do need a car to get around.
