Close offsite restaurants?

We are staying onsite but will have a rental car and would like to eat some meals offsite.Can you give directions and distances for your recommemdations? We are mainly looking for fast food or chain type restaurants for lunch.TIA

Right across from the Crossroads entrance to WDW there are many. Exit WDW property near the Crossroads area (DTD Disney hotels) by going straight through the light there is Jungle Jims (great burgers), Pebbles wonderful food and a very nice atmosphere, Olive Garden, McDonalds, Chevy's (mexican), TGIFriday's, and Quiznos. If you make a left from the lot you should easily find Pizza Hut and a few others as well.

Lone Star on 535 in Lake Buena Vista is great for lunch. We also had a nice dinner at TGIF's.

Another vote for Pebbles in the Crossroads shopping center! It got a great write up in the new book"Orlando Chow."
