greetings everyone:

I'm kind of on abudget this trip, and for the dates of June 27-29 (3 nights), I couldn't beat $89 (includes $4 per day parking fee) plus tax a night for the Anaheim Plaza.

Any better ideas out there?

I know this place is no All Star Resort..........but it's only about 5 minutes from the entrance and cheap!

I've stayed there and had no problem. Just make sure you ask for a room in the 300's or 400's at least. The smaller numbers have smaller rooms. The pool is nice and big, too.

are the larger # rooms closer to the front, or to the rear?
And does it make a difference whether you are up or downstairs?

We are staying at the Howard Johnson this week-end for $54.00 a night - no parking fee. It is an entertainment card rate. You must call the hotel direct, not the 800 number and request the entertainment rate. The number is: 1-714-776-6120. Good luck!

Across the street. I have been told about 500 yards. If you book a room be sure to ask for a room away from the freeway.

I've never spent more than $50/nte there and wouldn't. It's a budget hotel, no frills, and a longer walk than the HoJo whch you can usually get cheaper than the price quoted to you. We actually would get the plaza for about $39/nte using their travel discount guide coupon. At te time their continental breakfast was hardly continental (tip was expected and juice/milk was extra). But this was between 02-04.

We tried recently to get the Entertainment book rate for Hojo's for when were going next week and they said the only thing the could offer for that was 10% off. So the rooms were still like $129 a night.

Hard to get a good deal when booking late, I know that's what I've found. Were paying $130 a night at the Tropicana. Before that we had reservations at the Carousel which ranged from $129-139 during our stay. A lot more then what I wanted to pay too, but location was important to us.
