Clomid Crazy!!

At one point I was on 250mg I didn't think I was bad until years later when my Bff told me. And I had to drink cough syrup to thin my mucus because the comid made it too thick. I know TMI, sorry Good luck to you & your DH.

dds 24 and 27 were both clomid babies. I remember being really sad and depressed the 10 days I took provera to start a cycle so I could take the clomid but don't remember any crazy stuff with the clomid itself. It's been so long ago I don't remember doses but do remember I was up to 3x whatever I started with because I wasn't ovulating.....it's an emotional time anyway but well worth my 2 beautiful girls.

Clomid was horrible. My DH decided it was an anti-fertility drug, because he didn't want to be within 100 feet of me while I was on it

Been there myself.

I took it for few months, but had a miscarriage. About two months later I decided to try the meds again, and went crazy. My husband said I had to get off, but that made me cry even more because the doctors saids without it my chances were very slim. I gave in and stopped taking it and 6 months later I was pregnant again. I guess everything happens for a reason when the time is right.

I took it for 3 months and it was a nightmare! I was so incredibly emotional and had the most awful hot flashes. I know no one wanted to be around me because I didn't want to be around me! To make it worse, I gained 30 pounds in those 3 months and it didn't work! Best of luck to you! I hope it works its magic.

This was me too -- and I'm not usually particularly emotional. And the hot flashes were intense.

Good Luck Tina! I never took Clomid but took a natural aid that is supposed to be similar to clomid. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me but I had really bad hot flashes on it AND got PG with Ryan!

I took it for 1 cycle and it worked!! Good luck Tina! I was lucky to not have any crazy side effects but my SIL was on it at the same time and she had a rough time with it.

Hi..I'm new here, and thought I'd jump in on this thread. I experienced the clomid crazies, too. Hoo boy.. how they expect anyone to get pg when they want to kill their partner, I don't know.

I have 2 clomid babies!!! I remember the hot flashes and being moody(but I am always moody) so wasn't sure if it was from the clomid or not I was on the highest dose for each and it took me until the 5th and 6th clycles to get my positives! Sure it makes you a little crazy, but I would rather go through that then the alternatives. I have a very dear friend going through IVF and clomid is a breeze compared to what she is going through.

I was a LUNATIC on clomid. I cannot believe that DH wanted to get anywhere near me, or that I let him get that close. I can't remember a time I ever felt that way before or since.
