Clock Radios In Room

I just received a welcome call from DVC for my forthcoming trip.
I took the opportunity to ask if there were clock radios still in Beach Club Villas, as I have read on DIS that they are being removed.
The CM was a little shocked as he had not hear about this, and put me on hold.
Yes, indeed, he reported when he returned--the clock radios are gone from BCV. He told me that he knew they were still at the Poly, where I am staying the second half of my vacation.
So that's it: if you're going to BCV either have a cell phone or bring your own clock!

I might be imagining it, but I'm sure the tv in our room at BCV had the time on it at the bottom. I remember wanting to turn off the bright blue light it emitted.

May have been another hotel...

I've never seen a flat screen with a clock built in; usually it would be on the screen when the TV is on.

I stayed at BWV Dec 5 to 11, no clock. I left my I-Pad on the nightstand, so if I woke up during the night I had to pick it up and swish the screen to see the time. Next time I'm bringing a cheap clock. I've stayed at many hotels, both vacation and work travel and have never seen one without a bedside clock before this.

I was in a BCV 1BR last week that still had the old iHome clock radio.

We were at BCV from Dec 5-10 and the clocks were still there. I suspect they will be until the refurb.
