Any of you crazy FEB Dissers going to the Pirate and Princess Party? My DD3 has an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique the afternoon we get in, then dinner at Chef Mickey's and then off to the Pirate and Princess Party!

Hi JFlo, welcome to the crazy dancing thread!! I hadn't thought of it, but you are right on with that dancing guy, he DOES remind me of Walken! He looks a little happier than Walken though.

We are going to the P&P Party on Feb 5th. I'm so excited! I can't decide if I want to be a princess or a pirate - I'll probably be neither. Actually, I bought a bunch of princess stuff for my DD2 and I'll most likely end up wearing it after she rips it off. She already doesn't like the wand because it doesn't light up or make noise... she looked at it, yelled "WAND!", shook it around, and threw it on the floor and cried, "It doesn't work!!"

We are going to the P&P Party on Feb 5th. I'm so excited! I can't decide if I want to be a princess or a pirate - I'll probably be neither. Actually, I bought a bunch of princess stuff for my DD2 and I'll most likely end up wearing it after she rips it off. She already doesn't like the wand because it doesn't light up or make noise... she looked at it, yelled "WAND!", shook it around, and threw it on the floor and cried, "It doesn't work!!"

We would have attended on Feb. 5 if not for the fact that my DH and I had already scored the coveted Chef's Table at V&A for that night! We return home on 2/8 so that date was out, which left us the first day of our trip. We have an early flight in, so I am really counting on the adrenaline rush to keep the family going that night. My DD is being Sleeping Beauty, as that was the dress that I could best accessorize with to keep her warm. I'm thinking a pink danskin under the dress and a pink hooded winter poncho complete with white faux fur trim will keep her warm while still looking like a princess. I got her the tiara and light up wand. I didn't even realize it lit up until she discovered it!

DD is very excited about the prospect of being turned into a princess before attending the party. I have been filling her in on pretty much every detail of my planning, because I don't want her to feel overwhelmed by anything. I think that the more she knows and understands, the more likely she may actually remember some of it. The beauty of WDW is that you can build it up as much as you want and it will never disappoint. This will be my DD3 first trip (as well as my DH) and from everything I have told her, and the pictures and the maps I have showed her, she has already figured out that the Magic Kingdom is the first park we HAVE to go to. Pretty sharp, if I do say so.

Well, this morning we're down to just 3 weeks=21 days!!!! How awesome is that??? Just 2 more weekends to get my shopping done and my packing list complete!!!

I just can't wiat this is the first time we are flying so I am scared to pack because I know I won't get to take as much as usual! As long as I remember clean undies and my tickets I will make it.

Don't forget to pack enough pants! I learned the hard way that you can buy a million different shirts at WDW, but pants are very rare!

I saw alot of you are doing the pirate cruise. Boo hoo! My kids are too little. DD4 would probably love it but she would never go alone so we didnt book it.. Hoping that breakfast w/ cindy on the 7th will be a hit! As well as all of the other character ADR's I've made. Here's me hoping my first trip there in 20 years will be a hit! Let's hope I can squeeze a few of these in on this trip!

Clean undies and Disney tickets are a must!!! Make a list and don't forget the essentials!!! We'll be there when you are and we're going to the & Party on the 5th, also!!!

Hey Donna....we are going on the same day this morning. Maybe I'm on European time so I leave a little early. I'm going to do a sunshine/flower dance today becuase of our current ice storm.
