The girls will have a great time.. Have you pick a date yet???? We are going May 08! Long time...but it won't be long.. heck its almost July now.... and just 5 months til holiday shopping commences! eeck!

BTW, were you there when they put the walk-bridge over fee lane at the school of business?
I about fell over when we were walking campus last year and there was a walk-bridge!

yup, we picked End of january. Girls will be 2 1/2 and 4. CANNOT WAIT, hence the reason I'm starting on their autograph books NOW! Esp with the xmas season! I want this christmas to be a DIsney Christmas (themed!)

As for the bridge, alas, it was also done after i was there (I think?). I haven't been back for about four years (b4 kids!). Sniff, sniff, I miss the ol' place!

A few questions---

1. one the front, the tag "my name is" does that have the mod podge layered over it?

2. Do you think I use a cricut paper piecing in place of stickers?

1) yes it does. And make sure you get a good coating around the edge so the tag doesn't peel up.

2) yes you can, my cars one was a 3-D embellishment complete with pop dots and it worked fine. Again just make sure you get several layers on it to fill in the gaps of the layers.

Thanks so much! I am hoping to copy your project sometime next month. We have a trip at the end of September. Last trip we brought completed pages and extra tags. Kids and characters loved it, but I am just not up for that this time. I think I can placate DD7 with this board, tags, and the promise of completing her own pages.

When I'm doing a project like this, I like to see lots of examples. So, I thought I'd post the clipboards I did for our trip this past May (and June).

This is how I hooked the tags onto the clipboard. I'd take off signed tags in the evening and add more if needed.

Yes, they were done with the Mickey and Friends cartridge. The cardstock was quite thick. The first one I made was just too bumpy, and I thought it would cause problems when writing on it. So, when I made these, I put the picture on the back side so that it looked right when you saw it through the front.

I went looking for clipboards but couldn't find the smaller ones for a few of my kids' friends that want them made before their trips... Yep, another thing on my list of things to accomplish!
