Battery life was great (used rechargeable AAs, forgot to charge them most nights but they never died). However, my 7 month old did get his hands on it and pulled one of the foam blades off (still worked fine with two blades, but not ideal). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043IS18I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It also uses rechargeable batteries and charge via USP, which could come in handy if you plan on taking a portable charger to the parks anyway. https://www.amazon.com/Homasy-Opera...6875&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=stroller+fan&psc=1
