There are a few items that I always bring back from Orlando when I go, trainers, perfume, clothes and of course bags and bags of Disney!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo But just wondering if anyone can tell me where the cheapest place to buy Clinique products from is...

In July I bought from Bloomingdales at the Mall of Mallinia, but that was only because I was running out of time and sort of panic bought!! I am sure that there are cheaper places to buy from...

Any ideas???? :chat:

DW was very happy with a purchase made at Saks 5th Avenue just last week - whilst she was not looking for cheapest, she did spend $35 and got an extra special freebie bag.

The gift was not advertised on their counter and she sort of had to ask, but she said that the contents were superb.

Hope that helps from a non-Clinique bloke? ::MickeyMo

I got a good deal form Sandford airport on the way back, not sure what prices are like anywhere else sorry.

Theres a cosmetics store in the premium outlets that sells clinique, clarins and estee lauder seconds (usually only damage to boxes) and the over runs of the freebie bags you get when you buy 2 skincare products etc, they are great xmas pressies as they come with 3 or 4 cosmetic items a sample perfume and a couple of travel sixe skin care bits, I paid between $8 and $12 dollars per bag last year, as I said they made great xmas pressies! :)

Agree this, although Estee Lauder stocks were not that good last week (IMHO). DW only got a couple of items - much less than last visit, so we went to the Department stores instead. ::MickeyMo

I agree its a bit hit and miss with any outlet store but its worth a go before you head for the department store and their higher prices :sunny:

Debenhams have got a Clinique bonus time on at the moment. I got 2 items from there on Monday and got some really nice free gifts. I didn't find the prices in America much less than over here.

Being a regular visitor to Disney ( and a shopping freak ) heres what I can tell you :

The premium outlet is cheaper than anywhere else - As a previous poster said its because the products are seconds and also they have lots of the free gifts for sale that you see in the dept stores. My one concern with the shop at premium is that they do not allways have what you want and on occasion I have purchased from there before and the product has been not quite the quality of the stuff in the stores. ( I dont know why - maybe its nearing the end of the shelf life ??? - However they are usualy 2-3 $ less than dept stores - and most stuff purchased has been excellent.
Everywhere else - Mall at Millenia, Macys,Dillards etc should all be the same price as each other - so I usually shop at wherever is giving a gift away.
I ahve lived in Florida for 3 years now and consider myself to be quite the expert on cosmetic shopping ( Much to DH Dismay!!!!!) I have use Clinique for years and am always checking out ther prices for the family back in the UK as they allways want me to buy it and bring it home when I come over !!!

Hope this helps.

Sarah.

Another vote for the Cosmetics Company at the premium mall. The ordinary shops Saks etc are still pretty pricey... and I always seem to be just too late or too early for the gifts. But as you'll be there near X-mas there might be some good promotions on...

I got mine from Saks but later found the same things were much cheaper at the airport although the selection didn't seem quite as good. :flower:

Great. My wife has seen this and it looks as though I'm going to be accomnpanying her to the Cosmetics Company.

She loves Clinique nearly as much as Virgin Cosmetics.

I use clinique shaving gell - its the only dam thing that does not give me a rash, its $12 in the malls and about £14 in debenhams!

MCO does not stock it in the duty free, acording to the lady there they dont stock the most popular items!- found that rather odd :flower:

To those that think there's 'not much in it' the price of Clinique isn't comparable to prices over here, not even close!
It is less in $$ than ££ :flower:

I got mine at the airport and was very pleased with the price - the woman in front of me in the queue spend $250 on skincare and said that would last her a year at home and would have cost £300 or more. :goodvibes

Edited to add: I purchased a large bottle of Pleasures EDP plus a large body lotion as a pack, and it was LESS than DH had paid for just the EDP in DUTY FREE @ Tennerife 18 months earlier
