We are considering a trip to DW from 12/26-12/31. We have never been there during December. Since we live in the awful wind tunnel of Chicago, we look for decent, warm weather when we get away. Anyone ever been to Orlando in December that can give me some info. I appreciate it! Thanks

We went last yr Dec. 25-28 and 2yrs ago on the 28th both times were COLD! 40 degrees or so.

Layers of clothes and a warm jacket while watching the eveing fireworks/shows were necessary. In fact I believe we wore gloves at night. first thing in the morning was pretty bitter too -

During the day it's comfortable - not swimming weather for us Floridians but some people still enjoyed the pools

Check out underground weather - archives for orlando that will give you a better idea.

Have FUN!!!!

We went the 2nd week of December. We live in texas so we appreciate a little cooler weather. It was usually 50's-70's. In the moring in was pretty cool and I wore jeans, long sleeve t-shirt (with a CuddleDuds thermal silk t underneath to be removed and tossed in the backpack when it warmed up) and a lightweight fleece jacket. Definitely not coat weather but we saw people in shorts and t's but maybe they were from Canada eh!

I've heard of weather being very cold in the 30/40's or warm in the high 80's but I think 50-70 is 'normal' for Florida weather. Very nice and comfortable.

We were there last year, 19th to the 21st, and it was too cool for us to go swimming, and we wore sweatshirts to the MVMCP. However, even before we left on Sunday I noticed the weather was getting warmer and there were people in the pool at WL!

We went the first week in December in 2001 and the weather was beautiful, we wore shorts during the day, and light pants and a jacket a night.
In 2002 I went the 14th of December to the 19th and the first few days of the trip were very very cold. My son and I actually wore our winter coats in the evening. During the day we wore long pants and wore a jacket. The day we left was very nice, warm enough to wear shorts.
The best thing to do is to bring a variety of clothes so that you can layer.
I am going the beginning of December this year, I will definately be following the 15 day forecast before going.

I have been there when it was in the 80's and I have been there when it was in the TEENS. Pack for anything!!!!!!!!:teeth:
