Cleveland Hopkins Airport Question

The last time I was at the airport there were only 3 united gates all the way at the tip of the iceberg that is the C gates, that was back in early September. I was wondering if since the United/Continental merger was made official if United has since then been given more gates?

Reason I'm asking is that I'm flying home to my fiance a week from Sunday, and want to know if there is any chance I may end up with a closer gate to the baggage claim area where I will meet him. I just want to know how long of a walk I'm in for as I haven't seen him in a month and a half.

Yep they are still in the same place. We always called it the banjo instead of iceberg. I'm not sure about how the gate structure is going to change in the merger - well I guess they'll all become United gates eventually.

I can get from any gate to the terminal in about 10 minutes at Hopkins, it isn't that big. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
