We are looking to buy a home in Clermont (Orange Tree) for rental purposes. Perhaps at some time, we may live in it. Thought this might be the place to ask how successful it is as I know many Brits have ownership there?

Trying to determine Insurance, Management Fees, average vacancy etc etc...Seems a good time to buy, but I am still hesitant.

ANY help, much appreciated!

We don't own a villa but we have rented a villa in Clermont and i must say it's a very nice area. We have stayed there twice in Clermont and have enjoyed the villa and area very much.
Good luck with your research into owning a villa:thumbsup2

Hi!
I sold my villa in Glenbrook ,Clermont October 2006.The family who baught it are now reselling. It is a lovely community. But sadly too many rental homes have been built and it is a really competitive rental market, with lots of low prices to compete with.If you are going to rely on rental income,I sadly wouldnt recommend it anymore. It was great at the beginning ,
