Clearly Canadian Water?

Just reading some old posts and this one caught my eye. At my local supermarket I've been buying "Clear Choice" "naturally flavored sparkling water beverage". It has 0 calories, 0 total fat, 0 sodium, 0 carbs, and 0 sugars. I thought that means it's 0 points on WW. It contains aspartame, so am I mistaken about it being 0 WW points? I kinda assumed it can be used towards my water total.

Big difference between Clearly Canadian and Clear Choice! Clear Choice is surely 0 points.

I'm so glad Clear Choice is 0 points!! I've been drinking up a storm! Just popped open a white grape bottle! Phew!!!

How about finding a sugar free alternative? Most grocery stores have their own version of these. And they are very simular to Clearly Canadian and you could drink up a storm and not use any points/carbs/calories.

I mentioned Great American, earlier, available as Wal-Mart and Sam's Clubs nationwide. They're the least expensive 0 calorie, flavored carbonated beverages I've found.

My local supermarket, Stop & Shop, recently changed the brand name of their store brand, so I'm not sure what it is now.

The Great American water from Wal-Mart is good stuff - I had heard a rumor that drinking all that aspartame artificial sweetener isn't that great for you... anyone know anything about it?

my dad once bought this really good flavored water...it was very good, it was made with aspartame, and had no calories, fat, or sugar. And it was so good!

There isn't a definitive answer to that. There are a number of people particularly sensitive to the chemical itself (and you know who you are) but beyond that it isn't clear whether the advantages of using the aspertame outweigh the risks. Many people feel that they unquestionably do.
