Flying through Toronto on Westjet. Landing at 8 am, Taking off for Orlando at 10:30 AM. Is 2.5 hours enough time to get through customs and make the connection?

You should have no problems with that amount of time. If for some reason you are delayed on your flight into Toronto (due to something such as weather) and you feel you may not have enough time to make it through the customs line, alert one of the representatives that are walking around the line area and they can move you forward in the line if they feel you may miss your flight.

Should be enough time. That's why I hate flying Canadian airlines to the east coast. Having to transfer in Toronto or other city, get luggage, go thru customs, re-check luggage, yuck.:sad2: Colossal pain.

Trust you are flying Westjet from Toronto to Orlando. If air Canada you will have to pick up luggage and change terminals and you will be rushed. Connecting flights have express entry through customs. You will miss most of the lines. Biggest bummer will be that you can't get duty free coming home as you will have to buy your duty free in the US, but cannot take it through security in Toronto given the liquids policy. If it is a westjet connection, you will have plenty of time!
