Clearance in parks?

Does disney ever put stuff on clearance or sale in the park stores? I know they do all the time in the disney store online. Is it always top dollar? As far as I can remember I've never seen clearance or sale items.

Yes they do. In December they'll put that year's dated merchandise on clearance. For instance, this past December they had all sorts of 2012 merchandise on sale. And when I was there a couple of days ago I saw that Star Wars Vinylmation figures were buy one get one for 50% off. So the sales are there if you look for them.

Yes, there is clearance. I have seen clearance and sale items at Mouse Gear in Epcot and the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.

Yes they do! I've often seen it, look for the little red & white price stickers. I've found some amazing deals on things.

Many years ago I had gone on Splash Mountain with my DD. It was dusk and we were about to go wait for a parade. Well, the ride stopped when I was outside RIGHT next to the rocks were water was "waterfalling" down the rocks and splashing directly onto me.
I was S O A K E D. Literally dripping when I got off. And now it was dark. It was getting cool, and I was freezing. Ducked into a store quickly before the parade and got a nice sweatshirt -- ON SALE! I was happy about that because I was not expecting that expense.
