Cleanliness Issues.......have you had them?

Ok I know it can happen anywhere anytime, but I am wondering about this now.
please say if you had cleanliness issues with your room,( yes or no).... you don't have to go into detail, and which resort?

Last year at ASMO could be cleaner. Rugs a little dirty and housekeeping not so good.

This year POR no, not dirty at all. Houskeeping very good. Only thing was she forgot to take our garbage one day. No big deal to me.

WL 2002- very clean no issues
WL 2003- clean
Poly- 2006- was pretty clean
Poly 2007- had issues!!

Had lots of major issues at several resorts back in 2004 (must have been a bad year). Since then, no major issues.

Minor issues would include:
Not always getting shampoo/shower gel every day (various resorts)
Not always thoroughly vacuumed - just main walking areas (various resorts)
Sometimes serviced very late (especially in DVC resorts - but I kind of understand that).

CBR after so many stays I lost count, but one trip not so clean, corner room second floor in Aruba.

Poly three visits all clean

BC two visits very clean

WL one visit very clean one visit very bad (the bathroom was just plain dirty, toilet and tub had not been cleaned) had to call house keeping and then management came to the room to check room they aggreed and credit our account a one night room stay.

Pop two stays both very clean

Contemporary one visit clean

CSR three visits two clean and one not so clean.

Out of all our trips the worst was the second stay at WL, which surprised us, you never know it depends on housekeeping for that day. After that the remainder of our trip was fine, we even had turn down service without requesting it.

We've had issues almost every where. It doesn't seem to matter if you're staying value or deluxe, it really just depends what type of mousekeeper you happen to get during your trip. We had a horrible experience at the GF once while staying in Conch Key. But then had a fantastic mousekeeper in Sago Cay. I could go on and on.... there doesn't seem to be a reason, it's just the luck of the draw. However, I will say that no matter what issue we have had we have always gotten it resolved immediately by calling down to the front desk. That's the best thing about the WDW resorts, when they make a mistake they will take care of it asap. And if they can't take care of it they'll change your room, give you a credit, a free meal, or whatever it takes to make you happy.

Just came back from OKW, dirty DIRTY.............had housekeeping back everyday!!!!

Cookie crumbs on the floor when I arrived! EEEEWWWWWWWWWW

WL for the past 10 years and GREAT!!!!!!1

Movies--YES, terrible mold/mildew. Dirty floors. Trash in the floor beside/behind the TV area. It was really bad (this was in August of this year.) Took them three days to get the room cleaned properly (even with going to management at the resort with the issues each day.)

That is the only resort I have ever experienced a cleanliness issue in (and it's happened twice.)

Have had some "not so clean" rooms but overall, most resorts have been good except it seems that no one likes to vacuum!!!!

I've stayed at POP, POR, POFQ, CBR, WL, AKL, GF, BWI, BCV, and SSR and I've not ever had a cleanliness issue.
