I agree 100%!
Not to mention I always have to do it when the kids are out of the house or else I can't get rid of anything; suddenly everything is "that's my favorite--don't get rid of that yet!"
I hate this job. He has so many things that are too small now- it just reminds me how much older he's getting. Plus, it's boring and tedious.![]()

Oh yeah- His "I'm allergic to my sister" shirt is WAY too small and it's going, but he is going to be MAD. LOL

The absolutely worst one is my darling husband! I have to throw away his clothes when they get all worn out. He had this one shirt that had more holes than not and he would not throw it away. I had to do it when he was not looking.![]()
def save those t-shirts for a quilt.. super easy to make! I also stitch the neck and arm holes closed and trim and stitch the bottom and add a pillow form. They make great throw pillow.
I am always amazed at how many sizes I find. Even though we just cleaned out the closet, I find pants from 3-4 years ago.
I know a lot of people that save t-shirts, especially from sporting events and what not, and make them into a quilt they can take to college. I thought about doing that but I can't quilt.

I gave my DS's room 90 minutes today. You can now see his dresser top again, but it's too hot and I don't want to turn on the AC, so I'll pick up again tomorrow... probably with rubber gloves. His room is certifiably disgusting.
Jack's room is too. I told my dh NO MORE SUNFLOWER SEEDS..... they are all over his room...... we're lucky we don't have mice! The child (13) is a total slob.
It's clean on the surface, now maybe I can get a deeper clean next week.
