We don't usually fly Southwest, but the flights work out to be $254 with all taxes included. Does this sound like a good price? I know I can always change it if the fair goes down, but I just curious if this a good deal or not. Our dates are May 12-19. TIA!

I watched SW flight fares from CLE/CMH to TPA/MCO for a few months for our upcoming trip in February. The price you gave seems reasonable but if you keep watching I bet you'll see the prices dip at some point.

We live in metro Cleveland but prefer to fly from Columbus (CMH) because SW offers nonstop flights from there to MCO and is typically priced cheaper than flying from CLE. We booked originally for something around $110 each way (before taxes) but then saw the price dip to $79 at one point. It didn't last long, though, so you really do have to check often.

I did look at CLE and CMH to MCO and Tampa to CLE worked out to be a better deal for us right now. CMH to MCO is going to be about $42 cheaper on a round trip flight. Since we are actually going to Tampa and we have friends who will drop us off at the airport so we don't have to pay for parking, we decided to stick with CLE to Tampa. I will keep my eye out for any price drops. Thank you!!!

Adding: Right now we are getting about $107 each way, no taxed added from CLE to Tampa so I guess that isn't to bad. I'll checking all the different airports and see if I can work a better deal.

I booked our upcoming Feb trip from CLE to TPA a few weeks ago and paid $65 each way on SWA. But I have seen the CLE flights into and out of TPA have be holding right around $107 for awhile on SWA. Then one day they had a great sale and dropped to $65 :cool1:

Last week on Wed they dropped again from $107 to $87. So you just have to be diligent and check the prices daily.

I usually wait until it's under $100 each way before I buy. Cleveland tends to be pricier than Columbus or Pittsburgh on SW, which are the two other airports I usually watch.

Surprisingly, they are all running higher than CLE right now. I found one flight out of PIT that would "save" us $96. But once you factor the 2 hour drive, 121 miles each way, and parking, it ends up costing us.

I went ahead a booked the other day and since our return flight went up $18 each/$72 total so I was happy I at least booked it and have a starting point.
