I'm saying that Ellen's next to come out along with Lance Bass. I'm pretty sure that George Takai is in there too, there's something in the Star Trek uniform that just speaks "out" to me.

didn't Ellen come out a bunch of years ago...at the end of her show there was a skit with Melissa stamping her "papers" and telling her that she now had her offical lesbian cards (making her a card carrying lesbian!) and if she turned out enough women she would qualify for her free toaster oven. And them Melissa got up and took her toaster oven off stage. (guess she qualified for one finally!)

Gotta have Clay's back here. He's got a great heart, and he had a lot of public pressure during his "figuring out who he was" period. Add to that, he's a Christian, and you know they eat their own. (sorry Vikki -- you know it's true). It's harder for some people to come to grips with their sexuality because of they way they were raised.

Anyway, I'm proud of him. Being in the middle of the coming out phase of my life at the moment, I can only imagine the courage it took to come out on the cover of freaking People magazine. Nevermind that it was the worst kept secret ever.

A friend of my did backstage event planning for a local festival here, Musikfest which is a 10 day fest that features big names for paid concerts as well as street preformers in the entire downtown section of Bethlehem..... A few years back Clay was there, with his little dog who wore a pink rhinestone collar...they had to get owner and dog massages. A flippin massage for his dog. My friend said it was THE most unusual request she had EVER gotten!
